Peter Miyamoto

Peter Miyamoto enjoys a brilliant international career, performing to great acclaim in recitals and as a soloist in Canada, Europe, China, Japan, and major US cities. In 1990, Miyamoto was named the first Gilmore Young Artist. He won numerous other competitions, including the American Pianist Association National Fellowship Competition, the D’Angelo Competition, the San Francisco Symphony Competition, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Competition. He was a top prize winner at the 1995 National Chopin Piano Competition in Miami. A sought-after pedagogue, Peter is the Catherine Paine Middlebush Chair of Piano at the University of Missouri and formerly taught at Michigan State University, and the California Institute of the Arts and has presented masterclasses worldwide. He serves on the Chopin Foundation’s Scholarship Committee.

Peter’s solo CDs, The Chopin Ballades and Fantasies and A Schubert RecitalBrahms Works and A Piano Recital have received critical acclaim in Gramophone Magazine, International Record Review, American Record Guide, Fanfare Magazine, and Audiophile Audition. More recently, Great Pianists As Composers: Piano Works of Artur Schnabel, Glenn Gould and Dinu Lipatti and C Minor Progression: Works by Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert were released in 2019 and 2020, respectively, and were reviewed in American Record Guide (January 2020). A CD of commissioned violin-piano duos with violinist Julie Rosenfeld and produced by ten-time GRAMMY Award Winner Judith Sherman was released on Albany Records in Spring 2018.

Ewa Poblocka

Ewa Pobłocka won prizes at the 10th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (1980), the International Viotti Music Competition in Vercelli (1977), and the International Festival of Young Laureates in Bordeaux (1979). Ewa has performed throughout Europe and the Americas, as well as in China, Indonesia, the Republic of South Africa, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, and Australia, not only as a soloist but also as an accomplished chamber musician. She has given numerous first performances and made world premiere recordings of works by Polish contemporary composers. She has worked with European radio stations and recorded over 50 discs for Deutsche Grammophon, Polskie Nagrania, CD Accord, and Bearton, among others. Many of her recordings have won prizes and critical acclaim. She is the first Polish pianist to record both volumes of Das Wohltemperierte Klavier by Bach. Recently, she has performed both volumes during recital series in many European venues. She has been a jury member of many international piano competitions, including the Chopin Competition in Warsaw, the Artur Rubinstein Competition in Tel-Aviv, and the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition, and others. Ewa Pobłocka also willingly devotes herself to literary activities – her first book, ‘Forte-piano,’ was released in 2021. Since 2020, she has been running the broadcasts ‘Start with Bach’ and ‘Bach’s Cases” on Polish Radio.

Martin Garcia Garcia

Martín García García was born in Gijón, Spain, and at 26 years old, has received significant international recognition. This year alone has seen Martin performing in nearly 80 concerts worldwide (in America, Asia, and Europe), in a year that marked his debut in Korea, Mexico, and Brazil. He has also visited Japan, the United States, Canada, Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Lithuania, and Luxembourg to give remarkable recitals and perform alongside prestigious orchestras such as the NHK Symphony Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Hamburg Symphoniker, Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, and the Brasilia Orchestra. It’s worth noting that the Spanish artist also gave over 70 performances across America, Asia, and Europe in 2022, achieving significant milestones like his debut at Carnegie Hall in New York and a successful tour in Japan with 25,000 attendees across 14 performances. García García gained international attention as the first-prize winner at the 2021 Cleveland International Piano Competition and bronze medalist at the 2021 International Chopin Piano Competition.
