Rounds consist of two sessions each day. Afternoon sessions start at 1:00 PM, and evening sessions start at 7:00 PM.

These events are free and open to the public. However, seating is limited, and separate reservations are REQUIRED for each session.

Finals - January 11 and 12

The 11th National Chopin Piano Competition Finals Round takes place on January 11 and 12, 2025, in the Maurice Gusman Concert Hall at Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Each finalist will perform one of Chopin’s two concerti.

After a week of stellar performances by outstanding American pianists, only six will have been chosen by the star-studded jury to continue to the Finals. Each pianist will play one of Chopin's Concertos to reach the top prize and earn the $100,000 award. The Chopin Competition Symphony Orchestra will accompany each pianist under the direction of Maestro Ramón Tabar. The awards ceremony will follow the performances on January 12.

The Finals of the 11th National Chopin Piano Competition are ticketed events. Finals tickets are available for purchase through the University of Miami Frost Music Live! Boxoffice.
