Pianist Andrew Hyungdo Kim has received critical acclaim for his “complete mind for the keyboard and remarkable passion.” He made his recital debut at age 10 at Merkin Recital Hall and continued his studies at the Juilliard Pre-College Division. He has been named a YoungArts National Winner and a Semifinalist in the U.S. Presidential Scholar of the Arts. In 2022, he was one of seven pianists representing the U.S. at the Van Cliburn Screening Auditions. Andrew has performed at venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Severance Hall, and has been featured on WQXR’s Young Artists Showcase. Andrew is a graduate of the Harvard-New England Conservatory (NEC) dual degree program with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from Harvard and a master’s degree in piano performance from NEC under Dang Thai Son and Wha Kyung Byun. In 2024, he graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School. Andrew currently works as a Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in New York.
