Lucas is a junior at Brown University studying Computer Science. His current primary teachers are Prof. Saleem Ashkar and Lilit Karapetian. He had also studied with Ory Shihor and Mina Perry. He has played in masterclasses for and received coaching from renowned musicians including Jeremy Denk, and Alexander Korsantia. Lucas’s accomplishments include winning prizes at National YoungArts and Bradshaw and Buono Int’l competitions and being accepted to the Juilliard School’s B.M in piano performance program. He has given concerts for arts organizations including Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts and California Association of Professional Music Teachers. He was recently invited to perform an all-Chopin program for the opening concert of the season at Boston College’s Music Department. Lucas has participated in festivals including Boston University Tanglewood Institute, John Perry Academy, and San Jose International Piano Competition’s summer festival.
