The 5th edition of the Frost Chopin Festival returns to Miami offering world-class classical music with unforgettable performances at Maurice Gusman Concert Hall at the University of Miami featuring leading artists of our time Dang Thai Son, Dmitry Ablogin, Kevin Kenner, and Dean of the Frost School of Music, pianist Shelly Berg. Rising star virtuoso students of the Frost Chopin Academy will perform alongside these remarkable artists, and all attendees can benefit from enlightening workshops by Prof. Kenneth Hamilton, whose book After the Golden Age: Romantic Pianism and Modern Performance has become an indispensable resource to classical pianists seeking to better understand the manner of 19th-century piano performance traditions.
